The Tyandaga area is in Northwest Burlington, west of Brant Street and running from the North Service Road to Dundas Street with easy access to the 403/QEW highways and Dundas Street.  It runs up the escarpment giving some areas a great view of the city and Lake Ontario.  Numerous homes surround Tyandaga Municipal Golf Course which is built into the Tyandaga hills. 

Building started in the area in and around the early 1970’s onward with homes in the western edge in the 1990’s.  Home values run from in the low $200,000 range for some townhouses and from $300,000 to around $1,000,000 for detached. 

Area public elementary schools are Mountain Gardens, Maplehurst and Paul A Fisher and the secondary school is MM Robinson.   The Roman Catholic elementary school is St. Gabriel’s with Notre Dame the secondary school. 

This is a lovely area to live and has a nice feel to it.
