Vinegar BBQ Sauce

  • 2 c       cider vinegar
  • ¼ C     brown sugar
  • 1 T       dry mustart
  • 2-4 t     crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 t        hot sauce
  • 1 ½ t    salt
  • 1 ½ t    ground black pepper
  • 1 C      water

Put in jar & shake well.  Put 1 ½ cups unto pulled pork

Dry Rub

  • 1/3 c    paprika
  • 1/3 c    ground black pepper
  • ¼ c      chilli powder
  • ¼ c      ground cumin
  • ¼ c      packed brown sugar
  • 3 T       white sugar
  • 2 T       cayenne pepper

3 -4 lb pork shoulder or other inexpensive pork roast

Spread dry rub over pork shoulder, put in covered roasting pan and bake at 350 for 2 hours then pour over BBQ Sauce and cook another hour or until tender and can be pulled apart.   Pull apart with fork and let sit for 20 minutes.  Serve on buns with cole slaw.
