  Almond Roca

  • graham wafers
  • 1 c.          flaked almonds
  • 1 c.          butter
  • ¾ c.         brown sugar
  • 1 ½ c       semi-sweet chocolate chips

 

Cover the bottom of a 10 x 15 inch pan with graham wafers.  Sprinkle almonds evenly over top.  Melt butter and sugar.  Bring to a boil for 3 minutes stirring constantly.  Pour over almonds.  Put in 350 deg oven for 8 minutes.  It should be bubbly.  Remove from oven and sprinkle chips on top.  Let sit for one minute.  Use fork to make criss-cross design through melted chocolate chips.  Cut into squares while hot.  Let cool in pan.  Keep in fridge.
